WORDUTOPIA, allows writers and students of English, to build their own personalised database of words - complete with a captured phrase and hint, ready to be presented back to them in a random test fashion. Tests are automatically scored including an on-going average for each word and number of test appearances. Tests can be allocated an overall time limit or seconds per word format. They are also archived for post test review and resit purposes - you can even adjust the time aspect to make repeated tests easier or harder as required. Best of all, if you are too busy or just can't be bothered entering words, phrases and hints to build up your database, simply enter the online sharing community and take what you need from other users.
QUESTER allows children, students, employees, academics, hobbyists - anyone with a need to learn in fact, to create folders of questions on any subject and have them presented back in a random fashion. Tests can be customised to home in on weak areas, provide hints and additional information, set test timers, open or restrict access using passwords, share individual questions or whole folders with any number of people anywhere in the world - there's even a "reverse test" feature, which presents users with the answer to a particular question that they must then identify.
CHOICER allows personal users, coaches and administrators alike to create multiple choice exams as an alternative method of assessment, or to test a person's in-depth knowledge of a specific subject i.e. 2 of a possible 5 answers might be very closely matched but only 1 contains the exact wording or formula etc. As with Quester, Choicer's questions can be customised and shared with 1 or more users across organisations, schools and households. Each application comes with its own forum so that users can chat, share opinions and pass on tips and tricks. So what you waiting for?
